The Public Payroll - NYS

The Times-Union has put on-line the entire New York State public payroll. Similar information was recently posted on www.SeeThroughNY.net, although it did not seem to work that fast. Hopefully these will be improved to show overtime as is done in California.

While some employees may complain, it is only right that those paying the bills know who is getting their money.

Let's see if our local governments, authorities, economic development agencies and school districts have the nerve to follow suit.

It's amazing to see how whippin' fast the government wanted to post OUR information online... yet bellyache that their salaries (that WE PAY) are online. Crooks, crooks, crooks!

This posting of salary information is great. Now, can someone ask the Times Union to post school district salaries, county salaries, towns & village salaries.

This would be great blogging information and for everyone to read how much we are paying these people.

Times Union, if you are reading Strike's blog, please do add other salary information.
