The now called climate change and disruption movement is basically a fervant religion being promoted by a $5 billion industry of grants studies, etc.. When one hears the "true belivers" one almost feels sorry for them. We attended a lecture recently and heard a climate change desciple rail on about how he was doing it for his grandchildren. The stupidity of that remark renders the one who made it pathetic no matter how well intentioned. Even if one accepts all the radical believrs claim, the idea that any action can save the planet for our grandchildren is actually laughable. The Indains and Chinese think in terms of generations and technologies. We have a bunch of frauds, young know nothings and well intentioned running around in ignorance. The video is but an extention of them.
Hey Strikeslip, you could save 10% of your carbon emissions by cutting out the whining on your blog, turn off your computer, and go out and do some real work in your community.

Makes one wonder if this relates to the topic about control of our educational institutions. I'd say so.
