Exactly. No doubt a jaunt. Probably in Montana some teacher group is pushing for moose hunting as a health education activity. Their district residents will pay for ten boxes of 160 grain .280 ammo and a tree stand.
I could teach your kids and get them into the best colleges for 1/3 the cost you're paying through your taxes. And I'd pay myself twice as much as the highest paid teacher. My little school wouldn't provide jobs for half the community nor babysit your kids while you go off in the morning and fulfill yourself working for an insurance company, nor would your little darlings receive awareness training in a host of constantly changing (and increasing) social issues, nor get diagnosed with the latest educational Disability De Jour, but they'd get educated and prepared for a real world where the dumbasses fail and the smart ones succeed. Just like the 1800's you say? Yes, just like the generations that built this country.
